Simple, Easy & Delicious Choc Coconut Balls


  • ½ cup of cacao powder

  • A handful of Medjool dates (pips removed)

  • 2 tbsp. almond butter, peanut butter (or any nut butter)

  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp. rice malt syrup

  • Add small amounts of water as needed for the right consistency

  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut, for rolling


  1. In a blender or food processor, add all the ingredients (except coconut) and blend until the mixture is smooth and is the right consistency for rolling into balls.

  2. Spread the desiccated coconut over a plate.

  3. Wet hands slightly and roll into balls of your desired size, then lightly roll in the desiccated coconut.

  4. Place balls into an air-proof container and refrigerate for up to 7 days or in the freezer to last longer.
